I really like this film a
lot. When the Dakota Access Pipeline was in full forced we learned a lot about
it in school. We got to see a lot of the different sides of the story but never
really got to hear in depth the story of the people who lived on the land. It
was very interesting to get to see and hear from the people that lived there
and protested there. And it was amazing to see so many young people leading the
movement and pushing forward. This film was very emotional and really brought
light to how awful this issue is and how even though there were small victories
there is still so much work to be done. I think a lot of people have forgotten
about the pipeline but this film really shows that we cannot forget about this
issue.
