Reclamation Review

When we started watching this film I was not sure how I was going to feel about it. I usually stay away from politically charged topics and I knew the pipeline was a hot political topic. This film was very eye-opening and showed how the problems the entire situation was. I like how this film chooses to talk to young leaders who started the movement rather than older people who were just there. This film also showed how much brutality really happened during the pipeline protests. This film also did a great job of showing the cultural aspect of the people protesting the pipeline and how the pipeline hurt the families and tribes around the area.  This film made me feel like I should pay attention more to what is happening in the media.
