Triumph of the Will

Triumph of the Will was a very interesting inside look into what the German people saw in that time period. Highlighting Hitler as a giant among men from the camera angles to him being praised by everyone as if he were a god like figure as he promised to bring Germany out of the ashes into a new era yet as we know that promise was not fulfilled but the people had nothing else to believe in. Also from the images of the young men and boys that were part of the army of "road builders" showed nothing but good times and happiness all around getting people to thing that the youth of the nation were being part of a productive and organized group that is not only rebuilding Germany's glory but also having a golly old time being a part of the army. Which lets the everyday citizen think that it is something that he or she wants to be a part of because the comfort of a warm and welcoming smile seen on the young blonde boy seems to be an invitation to join the bandwagon of new ideas and ideals that would spread throughout Germany.
