I currently am watching the documentary "Get Me Roger Stone" on Netflix, and it is very similar in several aspects. It shows the life's work of a Republican consultant and lobbyists who is known as the "dirty trickster," and he relishes in that title. Roger Stone said it's better to be infamous than not famous at all. He worked with Lee Atwater on Reagan's campaign and lobbying throughout the 80s. The difference with this is that Roger Stone is still alive and is the prime interview subject for this documentary, that just premiered last year. It shows the perspectives of several Republicans that are friends with him, such as Donald Trump. And of course a good amount that oppose him, namely journalists. Just as the Lee Atwater documentary, showing both perspectives.
